Michael came out to evaluate some trees I had with a questionable fungus on them, and ultimately the course of action was removal for a select few. He got me an estimate for the removal within a matter of days. They had the most competitive prices out of the other estimates I got. Michael is a very knowledgeable Arborist and you can tell he is passionate about his work. He wasn't pushy at all about the removal like some of the other companies I had come out, and he advised me on doing it in "phases" to fit my budget. The actual tree removal and stump grinding itself was so smooth and all the workers that came with the crane and stump service were very professional and communicative about what the process was going to be.

Efficient, Affordable, and Professional what more can you ask for in a company. I had a big tree in my yard that needed to be cut down. From the estimate from Michael and the actual job being performed by his crew, everything was satisfactory. Including the clean-up. They’re also licensed and insured so that made selecting for the job even more comfortable. I highly recommend Driscoll Tree Service for your tree removal.

Storm Cleanup Tree Services: What Happens After Damage

Summer is a couple of months off but storm season is never far away. Strong winds, heavy rain, and lightning can strike fast and leave a big mess behind. Trees often take the biggest hit: Branches snap, trunks split, and sometimes entire trees fall.

That’s why planning ahead matters. Driscoll Tree Service helps homeowners and businesses prepare before storms arrive. We offer professional tree service to keep trees strong and reduce risk. And when the storm passes, we’re ready to help with cleanup and tree removal.

Continue reading to learn more about what happens after the storm damage is done, or call or message Driscoll Tree Service to speak with a live representative. As a local tree company serving the metro Atlanta area, we’re happy to arrange urgent tree service or schedule a convenient appointment.

What Happens After a Storm

secondary

The damage can be overwhelming after a storm as gardens get tossed around, trees take a beating, and debris flies throughout the driveway and yard. Here’s what property owners often see after the storm leaves:

  • Fallen branches scattered across the yard
  • Trees leaning or partially uprooted
  • Broken limbs hanging dangerously overhead
  • Damage to roofs, fences, or vehicles

In some cases, large trees fall on homes or power lines. This can create serious safety risks that demand the expertise of a reputable tree company.

The Hidden Dangers of Storm-Damaged Trees

When examining the aftermath, be cautiously optimistic. Some trees may look fine at first but still be unsafe. Watch out for:

  • Cracks in the trunk that weaken the tree
  • Roots loosened by heavy rain
  • Branches that are ready to fall later
  • Trees leaning more than usual

If you’re not confident in your assessment, then play it safe and bring in a professional tree service provider to investigate. They’ll identify exact issues and take action before things get worse.

Why Storm Cleanup Should Be Handled Carefully

Cleaning up after a storm is not as simple as picking up branches. Large limbs can be heavy and unstable, damaged trees may shift or fall without warning, and there may be electricity and other hazards present.

Trying to handle cleanup without the right tools or experience can lead to injury or worse. That’s why many property owners rely on experts for tree removal and debris cleanup.

What Storm Cleanup Includes

A full storm cleanup service covers more than just hauling away debris. Overall, it’s focused on safety, efficiency, and restoring your property. This involves:

  • Emergency Tree Removal: When a tree falls or becomes dangerous, a quick tree removal can prevent further damage and clears space for repairs.
  • Branch and Debris Cleanup: Crews remove fallen limbs, leaves, and other debris to make your yard safe to walk and use again.
  • Hazard Assessment: Pros will check for cracks, leaning, or weak branches that could fall later.
  • Preventive Trimming: Trimming after cleanup helps shape and strengthen remaining trees. This reduces risk before the next storm.
  • Property Protection: A respectable tree company will work carefully to avoid damaging your home, lawn, or surrounding structures.

The team at Driscoll Tree Service has decades of cumulative storm cleanup and tree service experience. Call or message today to learn more about our prices, availability, and services.
