I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally they worked. They were in and out in an afternoon. They had to remove a giant Red Oak, and did so with great skill and speed. Their price is very affordable and beats out most of the competition around. I highly recommend Driscoll Tree Service. We will use them again for all of our future tree removal needs! Seriously, give them a call. They are awesome!

We called to have two large pine trees removed since they were in the way of where we needed to put our fence. We are slackers and always wait until the last minute to do anything so of course, we tried to find someone that could take these out quickly as we needed it done ASAP. These guys came out the same day I called and were able to get them out the next day. I was so impressed by how nice and professional they are, it’s nearly impossible to get anyone to come out and/or follow up with anything so it was extremely refreshing that they did both without me having to call and ask what the hold up was. I will forever use this company for future needs. Thank you again!!

The Most Common Varieties of Tree Trimming

The majority of pruning and trimming services will fit into one of four categories:

  • Crown Reduction - Consists of removing large branches that are causing issues for the tree or the property owner. For example, the tree branches may be growing too close to the roof or a city power line. Or, a tree's limbs may be growing unevenly, putting its long-term health in danger.
  • Hazard Mitigation - This is mostly used when smaller branches or limbs are putting others in harm's way. For instance, a limb may grow too close to a second-story window or over a driveway or children's playground. Removing these problematic branches will help improve the safety and comfort of your outdoor space.
  • Standard Pruning - Utilizes professional techniques for enhancing a tree's overall appearance and health. This usually requires heavy trimming and is performed on a routine schedule based on the tree's specific requirements and the property owner's preference.
  • Fine Pruning - Fine pruning is performed to showcase the beauty of ornamental trees.

How Can Routine Tree Trimming Benefit Homeowners?

secondary

Tree trimming and pruning are important for the health and beauty of your trees. Trimming can help remove dead or damaged branches, improve the tree's shape, and increase sunlight and air circulation. Pruning can also help control the tree's growth, encourage fruit production, and prevent the spread of disease. For best results, it is recommended that property owners invest in professional tree trimming services at least once per year.

Reasons to Hire Professionals for Your Tree Trimming Needs

While you can trim and prune your trees, it's best to leave these activities to a professional. Mistakes made during any trimming service could result in injury or property loss. There's no reason to risk the safety and well-being of yourself, your loved ones, or unsuspecting neighbors. Avoid dangers and litigation problems by hiring a professional. A tree care specialist will have the training and experience needed to safely and effectively care for your trees. In addition, a professional tree service will have the proper equipment to get the job done right. So when it comes to tree trimming and pruning, it's always best to leave it to the pros.
